So after almost a 2 year Hiatus I've finally gotten off my ass and started costuming again. Part of my hiatus was due to a malaise I felt after I lost my costumes in the fire. Another part was jsut not having enough time. Then there's 40k, and thats expensive as hell. So I'm working on the Hero from DQ8. I've got the boots on the way, the shirt needs to be put together and and now trying to find something that would work well for the coat. I'm going to head out after work to look for something. Course the heat is going to suck

Sometimes I really hate the bureaucratic process. And in retrospect after a year of being back from Japan, aside from being a line on a resume, joining JET was a mistake. He is an individualist first and last. He values his own liberty but doesn't strive to protect others' freedom. He avoids authority, resents restrictions, and challenges traditions. A chaotic neutral character does not intentionally disrupt organizations as part of a campaign of anarchy. To do so, he would have to be motivated either by good (and a desire to liberate others) or evil (and a desire to make those different from himself suffer). A chaotic neutral character may be unpredictable, but his behavior is not totally random. He is not as likely to jump off a bridge as to cross it. Chaotic neutral is the best alignment you can be because it represents true freedom from both society's restrictions and a do-gooder's zeal. However, chaotic neutral can be a dangerous alignment because it seeks to eliminate all authority, harmony, and order in society.

Race:
Humans are the most adaptable of the common races. Short generations and a penchant for migration and conquest have made them physically diverse as well. Humans are often unorthodox in their dress, sporting unusual hairstyles, fanciful clothes, tattoos, and the like.

Class:
Sorcerers- Sorcerers are arcane spellcasters who manipulate magic energy with imagination and talent rather than studious discipline. They have no books, no mentors, no theories just raw power that they direct at will. Sorcerers know fewer spells than wizards do and acquire them more slowly, but they can cast individual spells more often and have no need to prepare their incantations ahead of time. Also unlike wizards, sorcerers cannot specialize in a school of magic. Since sorcerers gain their powers without undergoing the years of rigorous study that wizards go through, they have more time to learn fighting skills and are proficient with simple weapons. Charisma is very important for sorcerers; the higher their value in this ability, the higher the spell level they can cast.

http://www.easydamus.com/character.html

Sadly it's a part I'm not too familiar with. Lena sent me over some more books from her work which is of a GREAT help to me. The school is only 20min away from home. The day is from 7:35 to 1:30. Which is mercifully short. I'm looking forward to it.

So I've been working on fleshing out my next campaign. Was originally leaning towards doing a Planescape: Faction Wars scenario. But have since opted to change that drastically, due to the nature of my recent music kick. Namely; Disney Villains.

So It's now a Kingdom Hearts style campaign, using the 4e mechanics. Yes, keyblades do exist. Working on the plot now, cause the villains are easy. Some will have class levels, others will just be monsters. Which is neat. So beyond my immediate play group, I'm opening it up to anyone interested in joining. We run weekly, on Sat's for a few hours in the afternoon. And we'll be starting in May.

I really dislike my Dev Psych class. My time in the class is better spent playing Pokemon. Because it doesn't matter how well I understand a concept, unless I can regurgitate the term, or its meaning on a multiple choice test, I'm SOL for a decent grade. Being required for 700 pages of a Psych text for a 200 level course is absurd. I'm really not a happy camper in regards to that class. plus the Elite 4 in Pokemon Pearl a kicking my ass.

My other classes are going swell. I'm trying to finish up a lesson plan for Friday. Cause my co-operating practicum teacher wants me to teach. Sweet... I guess.
